Joy Harris
Co-Founder & Director
Joy, along with Julie, started Arrows 2021 and currently serves as director. She's in her 24th year of home schooling and has graduated her 3 sons, has a special needs daughter as a "super senior" at Valley View, and is currently home schooling her 16 year old daughter.Besides God and her family, Joy loves her farm animals, nature, and lima beans. Her favorite subject is science and she actually thinks protons are cute but doesn't care for electrons.Joy is passionate about building a home school community not just for the kids but for the moms. She believes that in order to home school long term, moms need an encouraging support system and hopes that Arrows provides that.
Julie Miller
Co-Founder, Spiritual Leadership, and Hospitality
She is in her 7th year of home schooling her 4 children grades 10th, 4th, 2nd and 1st. She also has 2 older married daughters and 6 grand children! Julie is passionate about her family and serving the Lord along side her husband in ministry at Community Harvest Church. She is also passionate about the call God has put on her life to help lead others to Christ and encourage other woman in their walk with the Lord. She loves the outdoors, being creative in decorating for special events, music, worshiping and studying the word. Like Joy, she is passionate about building a home school community not just for the kids but for the moms. She believes it's not just a co-op, but a beautiful ministry. She helps to provide opportunities for fellowship, Bible study and meaningful conversations with others. "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." Philippians 2:3-4
Abby Little
Secretary, Social Media and Events
Abby joined Arrows in 2022 and this year is serving as secretary, treasurer, social media and events coordinator. She is a wife of almost 11 years and a mom of 2 boys, ages 8 and almost 4 (and 4 babies in heaven that she can’t wait to meet one day🤍). “Grandma” (her amazing mom) blesses her family beyond measure, allowing her the time to peruse things she is passionate about within co-op. Abby loves gardening, being creative, and dabbling in any random hobby that catches her attention!
In her words, Abby kind of pushed herself in with a bunch of bonkers ideas and insisted Joy and Julie let her help them with co-op. She is so thankful they graciously did! Not only does this put her “previous retail manager” brain to work, but getting to do this phase of life beside them (and all of the amazing Arrows moms, many who have become good friends) has been such a blessing. They have helped her grow in her relationship with the Lord, her role as a wife and a mother and her passion for homeschooling.
